CONSTRUCTION 20
Student's will be learning about different structures that exist in building a house. One of the projects that students completed was scaling down an 8x8 shed down to a 4x4 dog house. Currently students are finishing the siding on the dog houses and then we will prepare to shingle them.
We are also in the process of building a sound booth for the band program at W.H. Croxford. Students are assembling it in the shop and then will transport it, like a modular home, into the band room. Students have had to draft the plans that we are following and will have to think of things such as ventilation and sound proofing.
CONSTRUCTION 30
Students in construction 30 get to do their special project, which means they are allowed to draft and build anything that they want. Before building anything they must draft it to scale and meet with the teacher to see what credits they can earn for their projects. Students can be as creative as they want or build something that they need around their house. There are always students that are looking for projects, so if you have something that you need built for your house, please contact the email above and we can discuss the possibility of a student building it for you.
