GRADE 9 CONSTRUCTION
Throughout the semester students will become familiar with basic woodworking tools and machinery. Working both individually and with their peers, students will develop their skills, not only in woodworking, but in life long skills that will help them in the workforce.
Students will work to develop the following competencies throughout the semester

Work with a variety of technologies and technological systems
Communicate and work as effective team members
Develop ethical work habits and relationships
Creatively seek practical solutions to a variety of problems

PALLET PROJECTS
Students work in groups to design a project that can be constructed using only one pallet. Students salvage the wood and create a project that serves a purpose.
